Youth Services

The Youth Services Program provides a variety of services to children and youth in the Muckleshoot community. The services offered include the Youth Center, the Youth Work Training Program, Youth Council and administering the Student Incentive and Reward Program and School Supplies Program. By providing positive and healthy extracurricular & cultural activities and education that promote positive self-image, resiliency and life skills the program enables the children and youth of the Muckleshoot community to be equipped with the tools to needed for a successful life.

All programs in the Youth Services Program provide youth the opportunity to learn move about and be involved in their cultural heritage and traditions. The program offers cultural activities, promotes cultural pride, and encourages family and community participation in the events. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun environment for children and youth and to see them grow to be healthy, successful adults in the community.

  • Youth Employment for ages 14 & up Enrolled in School (50 youth During the Summer, 30 Youth during the School Year).

  • Provide for the distribution of school supplies twice a year and for summer school.

  • Provides recognition for academic achievement for Muckleshoot students enrolled in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade.
