Greetings from the Muckleshoot Department of Education. There is no greater joy than watching the face of a child, a young person, or an adult as education becomes real and relevant to them.

These moments can happen in classroom or the Canoe Journey. It is our task as educators to facilitate those moments in our daily interactions with Muckleshoot children, youth and adults.  We believe such moments only happen when the individual is invested in the educational process.

The mission of the Muckleshoot Department of Education is to provide a seamless system of excellence in education from birth through higher education in which the culture, history and language of the Muckleshoot people is integrated into every aspect of the education system.
