Muckleshoot Elders in Home Support  Services (MEIHSS) strives to offer excellent and affordable home health care and community-based social services to individuals and families of Muckleshoot  Indian Tribe and community. It is our goal to employ culturally competent, caring, and well-trained individuals who are responsive to the needs of our clients, their families, and the tribal community we serve.  We encourage and support each service provider so they can fulfill the mission of MEIHSS. SERVICE AREA

MEIHSS is a new Home Health and Social Service agency in its start-up stages. Our agency will be located in the heart of the Muckleshoot reservations and will provide the following services to clients within the Primary and Secondary service areas. The Primary service area will be the initial service area for the MEIHSS, and prioritize resources to any qualifying member residing within the Reservation or within the 98002, 98092, or 98022 zip codes.  The Secondary service area consists of King and Pierce County and resides in the service area at such time as the Program Administrator determine that Program resources are available to serve qualified members residing within the larger Secondary service area.

SERVICES PROVIDED

MEIHSS offers premier home health care that includes skilled nursing, nursing aide, social work, and case management. MEIHSS provides medical and non-medical care services to the elderly and disabled people with physical conditions and cognitive disabilities who would like to remain living at home, yet require assistance with activities of daily living. Working closely with clients and their families we provide personalized assistance in client’s own home, the hospital, long-term, assisted living facilities and other places of residence with things such as:
