Who is eligible to use the Wellness Center?

The Wellness Center has two categories of membership eligibility as detailed below:

*NON-PAYING MEMBERS

  • Muckleshoot Tribal Members and their significant other.
  • Muckleshoot Tribal Member’s immediate family under the age of 18.
  • Guardian of a Muckleshoot Tribal Member who is under the age of 18.
  • CHS-eligible Native Americans with social ties (residing in a Muckleshoot household or on the Muckleshoot reservation), and their significant other and dependents under age 18.

    *Other rules and regulations may apply to membership eligibility

*PAYING MEMBERS

  • Up to 4 extended family members of a Muckleshoot Tribal member.
  • Regular permanent employees of Muckleshoot Tribal Government along with their significant others and household dependants under age 18.
  • CHS eligible Native Americans that work full time for Muckleshoot Casino, Bingo or Smoke Shop.

The Wellness Center offers the following services and activities:

Fitness Assessments:

We provide an initial fitness assessment for new members, including body composition.

Equipment Orientations: 

Complimentary fitness equipment orientations are provided by Fitness Trainers. They will take you through step by step how to operate and safely use all of our wonderful state of the art equipment.

Personal Training Appointments:

Fitness Trainers are available to assist members with individualized programs to help achieve their health and fitness goals.

Childcare: 

Childcare services are available to Members Children ages 6 weeks to 7 years of age.

Special Fitness and Aquatics Programs & Events:

These include Fitness and Swim Challenges, Fitness and Swim Recreation, Community Events, and Fitness Swim Competitions.

Aerobics Classes:

Indoor cycling, Water Aerobics are a sample of classes that are offered daily.

Gymnasium: 

Open gym basketball, basketball leagues, volleyball, pIckleball, badminton, a traversing rock climbing wall, and various sporting equipment are available for checkout.

Café:

The café offers Sandwiches, Smoothies, Salads, Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, along with various snack items and cold beverages.

Swim Lessons:

Parent and Tot Classes are offered for ages 6 months to 3 years of age, and Lessons are offered for ages 3+ for non swimmers on up to swimmers.

Lap Pool and Therapy Pool:

Lap swim, recreational swim, family swim, and pool therapy.

Pool Equipment and Toys:

Water volleyball, water basketball, water dodge ball, water polo, floating recreational equipment, water fitness equipment, and an inflatable water slide.

Paying Members

  • There are several regular services offered for a fee to our paying members, such as (but not limited to) personal training, swim lessons and childcare.
  • Other special programs, classes and events will have varying fees that will be determined individually and included in related advertisements.

Non-Paying Members

  • No fees for any regularly scheduled services will be charged to non-paying members (excludes items for sale in the café).
  • Discounted rates may be offered to non-paying members for special events with fees.
